THE SUIT SERIES IS A RARE, SMALL, LIMITED EDITION OF 48 SPORTS CARDS PRODUCED FOR THE 1958 FIFA WORLD CUP. THIS CARD SERIES FEATURES 12 HIGHLIGHTED PLAYERS FROM EACH OF FOUR NATIONAL TEAMS: BRAZIL, HUNGARY, SWEDEN, AND WEST GERMANY. WEST GERMANY WAS THE DEFENDING WORLD CUP CHAMPION, BRAZIL AND HUNGARY WERE TWO OF THE TOP FAVORITES, AND SWEDEN HOSTED THE EVENT.

IN THE SUIT SERIES, MANY PLAYERS ARE PHOTOGRAPHED WEARING A SUIT, HENCE THE NAME OF THE SERIES. THE SIZE OF THE CARDS IS APPROXIMATELY 28MM X 49MM (1.10″ X 1.93″). THE 48 PLAYERS IN THE SUIT SERIES ARE LISTED IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER BY THEIR LAST NAME AS FOLLOWS.
